The SigEp Annual Golf Tournament is the cornerstone philanthropic event for the Texas Kappa chapter. As a fraternity built on Virtue, Diligence, and Brotherly Love, we see this tournament as a vital opportunity to translate our values into action — funding the leadership development programs and scholarships that turn students into balanced men. Whether you join us on the green as an individual or bring a full foursome, your participation drives our mission forward.
Reserve your spot
Register as an individual golfer or bring your own foursome — a team of four saves $140 compared with four individual registrations.

Placed on a team with other individual registrants. Includes greens fee, cart, and post-tournament reception & dinner.

Refund & cancellation policy
We want you to feel comfortable registering. Refunds are available on request:
- More than 7 days before the tournament (on or before November 7, 2026): refund of your registration minus the non-refundable card processing fee (see below).
- Within 7 days of the tournament: we’ll refund your registration (minus the processing fee) or transfer your spot to another golfer, whichever you prefer, depending on whether the spot can be filled or your circumstances make attending impossible.
- Unable to play for any other reason, at any time? Contact us — we’ll work with you.
Processing fee: our payment processor keeps its fee when a payment is refunded, so refunds are for the amount paid minus that fee (2.9% + $0.30 per payment). That means a refund of $130.78 for an individual registration ($135) or $388.10 for a team registration ($400).
If we cancel or reschedule the tournament (for example, because of weather), you can choose a full refund of the amount you paid, or keep your registration for the new date.
To request a refund or transfer, email sigep.texaskappa.uta@gmail.com or call Chapter President Jason Del Angel at (469) 735-3826 with the name on the registration. Refunds go back to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days.

Shotgun Start
All teams begin play simultaneously in the Four-Person Scramble format.
Reception & Dinner
Join us for a post-tournament reception and dinner, including sponsor recognition and awards.
Tournament rules
Format
Four-Person Scramble. All team members tee off, the best shot is selected, and everyone plays from that spot until the ball is holed.
Mulligans
Available for purchase at check-in for golfers who want a few extra do-overs.
Scoring & Ties
USGA rules govern all play except where modified by local course ground rules. Ties are decided by a scorecard playoff starting from the #1 handicap hole.
Attire
Proper golf attire is required at all times — collared shirts and slacks or golf shorts. Denim and athletic wear are not permitted on the course.
Pace of Play
Groups should keep pace with the team ahead of them — a maximum of 15 minutes per hole is allocated to keep the tournament on schedule.
